If you've been around romance for a while or even if you're new, you've heard of or seen in passing Fatin from RR@H Novel Thoughts and Book Talk. A little over a week ago she lost her husband to an act of violence that no one should have to.
The authors, reviewers, editors and readers have responded many-fold. Operation Auction is that response. I'm new to the community of book reviewing and one of the first people I heard of was Fatin and her love of books. I'm glad to see the community come together for something so worthwhile and it renews my faith in the human spirit to see things like this happen.
My thoughts and prayers are with Fatin and her family as she soldiers through this time.
